Game Overview

Honey Gems is a fresh online slot from Playtech, released in 2023. It features a one-of-a-kind honeycomb grid with 17 reels, laid out in a 1-2-3-4-5-4-5-4-5-4-5-4-5-4-3-2-1 row structure to create 61 positions in total. Instead of classic paylines, you’ll win by landing clusters of five or more matching symbols together.

Game Features

Sticky Respins

When you land a winning cluster, the Sticky Respins feature is triggered. Winning symbols stay locked as the rest of the grid spins again, giving you the chance to land even bigger clusters. Respins continue until no new matching symbols appear.

Honey Queen Free Spins

Land the right scatter symbols, and you’ll trigger the Honey Queen Free Spins round. Multipliers become sticky in this feature and don’t reset between spins, ramping up your chances for bigger wins.

Wild Multiplier Symbols

Wild symbols can substitute for any other to help form winning clusters and also carry multipliers to further boost your potential payouts.

Bonus Buy Option

If you’d rather skip ahead to free spins, you can use the Bonus Buy option and purchase direct entry into the Free Spins round at a fixed price.

Betting and Volatility

Bets can be placed anywhere from €0.10 up to €10 per spin, suiting most player budgets. Honey Gems features an RTP of 95.46% and medium volatility, meaning you can expect a balance between the frequency and size of your wins.

Visual and Thematic Elements

The game is set against a peaceful backdrop of blue skies and wildflower meadows, delivering a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere. The hexagonal grid, bee-inspired icons, and characters like the Honey Queen make for a truly unique look and feel.

Conclusion

Honey Gems by Playtech provides a new twist on slot play with its striking grid and lively bonus features. Cluster pays, sticky respins, and free spins with sticky multipliers come together for an exciting gameplay experience. Whether you’re an experienced slot player or just trying out something new, Honey Gems is sure to offer fun and rewarding spins.
