Game Overview

Hot to Burn Hold and Spin is a 5-reel, 3-row slot game developed by Pragmatic Play and released in 2021. The slot offers 20 fixed paylines and a return to player (RTP) rate of 96.7%. This game mixes the feel of a traditional fruit machine with up-to-date bonus features, creating a blend of nostalgia and excitement.

Game Features

Symbols

The reels are filled with classic icons including cherries, oranges, plums, strawberries, watermelons, BARs, and sevens. The seven is the top-paying symbol, offering the biggest wins. Wild symbols appear as well, substituting for regular symbols to help build winning lines, while star scatter symbols can pay out no matter where they land on the reels.

Hold & Spin Feature

When you land five or more money symbols (shown as burning suns or diamonds), the Hold & Spin feature kicks in. The triggering symbols lock in place and the rest of the reels spin, with four respins to start. If a new money symbol appears, your respin count goes back to four. This feature carries on until no new money symbols land or you fill all positions. At the end, all money symbol amounts are added up and paid out.

Big Money Wheel Bonus

If you manage to fill every reel position with money symbols during Hold & Spin, you'll unlock the Big Money Wheel Bonus. The wheel spins, awarding extra prizes between 10x and 5,000x your bet, and keeps spinning until it lands on a blank, ending the bonus.

Betting Options

You can bet from €0.20 to €240 per spin, making it suitable for a range of budgets. The high volatility means wins mightn't come as often, but when they do, they could be well worth the wait.

Visual and Audio Design

Hot to Burn Hold and Spin keeps it old school with bright fruit symbols and a fiery backdrop. The overall look is simple and classic, with some modern features mixed in.

Conclusion

Hot to Burn Hold and Spin delivers a blend of classic slot style and modern bonus action, perfect for those who love traditional games as well as anyone after new ways to win. The clear gameplay and the thrill of big wins in the Hold & Spin feature and Big Money Wheel Bonus make for a top-class slot experience.
