Game Overview

Legend of the Ice Dragon is a mesmerising online slot from Play'n GO, first released in November 2021. Set in a mystical ice-covered world, players are drawn into a land ruled by the mighty ice dragon.

The slot plays out on a 7x7 grid, using a cluster pays system where wins are scored by landing clusters of five or more matching symbols that connect either horizontally or vertically. Game Mechanics and Features The game features cascading reels where winning symbols disappear from the grid, letting new symbols fall in, which can lead to further wins from just one spin.

This cascading effect continues until there are no new winning clusters. A standout element in Legend of the Ice Dragon is the Ice Crystal Charger.

As players rack up wins, the charger fills with energy. When certain amounts are collected — specifically at 20, 40, 60, and 80 winning symbols — a range of features are set off: - Tail Lash: Changes all high-paying symbols to one specific high-paying symbol. - Ice Scorch: Drops 3 to 6 wilds onto the grid. - Destruction: Wipes out all low-paying symbols from play. - Dragon Blast: Activates all Ice Frames, turning them into wilds with multipliers of up to 8x.

Random modifiers called Freezing Features can also kick in on non-winning spins: - Avalanche: Destroys all of two symbol types and leaves up to 7 wilds in their place. - Blizzard: Picks 7 symbols in a certain shape, turning up to 5 into wilds and removing the rest. - Hailstorm: Picks one symbol type and hits three, turning neighbouring symbols into wilds or removing them. Betting and Volatility Bets can be placed from €0.20 up to €100 per spin, catering for all kinds of players.

The game is highly volatile, giving players the chance to land significant wins, with a maximum win of up to 6,000 times your stake. The default RTP is 94.28%.

Visuals and Theme The design fully immerses players in a frozen fantasy world. The imposing ice dragon looms beside the grid and springs into action during special features.

Symbols on the reels range from ice-themed icons to gemstones and dragon-related symbols, adding to the magical atmosphere. Legend of the Ice Dragon blends engaging gameplay with an enchanting theme, making it a great pick for slot fans after something a bit different.
