Game Overview

The Hand of Midas is a video slot created by Pragmatic Play, launched in February 2021. Drawing on the legendary Greek myth about King Midas and his golden touch, the game unfolds against a lavish temple backdrop, shimmering with golden detail. With 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed paylines, it offers both excitement and visual appeal.

Game Features

Wild Symbols with Multipliers

Wild symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4, each carrying a random multiplier of 1x, 2x, or 3x, which is applied to any win including a wild. If more than one wild is part of a win, their multipliers combine, offering greater win potential.

Free Spins Feature

Land three or more scatter symbols to trigger the free spins, where the number of spins is decided by mini reels. During free spins, any wilds that land become sticky, staying in place for the rest of the round. Each wild also boosts the total win multiplier, which keeps growing and doesn’t reset between spins, paving the way for potentially big wins.

Ante Bet Option

Activate the Ante Bet feature to increase your stake by 25%. This raises your chances of landing the free spins round by adding extra scatter symbols to the reels.

Betting and Volatility

The Hand of Midas suits a wide variety of budgets, with bets starting from €0.20 and going up to €100 per spin. As a high volatility slot, it may not pay out as often, but wins can be particularly rewarding when they do come. The Return to Player rate stands at 96.54%, which is in line with what players expect from online slots.

Graphics and Sound

The visuals transport you straight into King Midas’s glittering world, with symbols depicting elements from the myth such as King Midas, treasure chests, and goblets. The soundtrack creates an immersive atmosphere with its dramatic tones, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

Conclusion

The Hand of Midas offers Irish players an engaging slot with multiplier wilds, sticky wilds during free spins, and the Ante Bet feature. Its high volatility and strong mythical theme will appeal to those who enjoy Greek legends and are after slots with real win potential.
